have you considered posting it to r/4tran or is that not the audience you're looking for?

What's the kind of people that you want to attract here?
Maybe you could advertise this chan on /leftypol/ or something.

i found this in a thread in lgbt, had no clue what it was, then quickly realized. idk how much you're looking to grow it at this point, but i think you need some sort of real homepage with some sort of manifesto kind of explaining what the site is and how it works. something that normies who didn't grow up on imageboards can understand, if that's at all in the audience you're looking for. i think it would be helpful if it was an option to make something like that for each board, like i still have no clue what a glegle? is. i get that the general idea is to create more of a framework and do not so much top down guiding, but i feel like with the twitter stuff going on there's definitely a window of opportunity to grow the site

I kind of like just dropping people into the fray without a home page. though some kind of info at the top would probably be useful. we have an info icon in the top right but it's not that easy to spot and mostly only contains technical info, at the moment

thats the main thing yee

we definitely plan on doing this

yeah, we launched before any of that but it does seem quite relevant

right now we're kind of trying to do a phased launch, starting mostly with imageboard users since we think they're the most likely to convince to check it out when it's not quite so active. and then once it becomes more active we'll branch out further

i think definitely the first step is to get a core userbase and then go from there

yeah, that's the plan. though it's not very easy to do even that. we've been struggling to find users for several months now. but we didn't want to seem spammy so we haven't linked it too often yet

in the meantime, if you have any friends or communities who you think might like it, please feel free to link it to them

yo is there a way to delete a post that you accidentally made or is it just like gonna be there as a blank thing sick

it's sometimes a little buggy (but will be fixed soon) but generally speaking, blankposts are automatically deleted within a few seconds

r/4tran is gwnuinely worse than the board since it's just as toxic but no one knows how to ignore the toxic people, idk..

keeping the site intentionally small and filled with only nice people sounds like a good way to be.
when you say "growing the site" or similar, you mean more of the same people - nice people! for the nice site! but with scale often comes wider reach, lower standards, lower common denominators - everyone speaks on the level of the lowest rung. aka being mean and stinky and hashtag toxic. source: 4chan in general
so if you want to grow the site, support the ppl already here. hear what they wanna and give them more stuff and more cool vibes. idk what that looks like and neither do you probably, but i think it's better to make what is here as best as can be, rather than reaching out to the unknown and trying to scoop up more ppl for the sake of number going up.

also keeps costs lower cause some mfers would run the hashtag ai very much and just intentionally fuck it for others. more people = mean peopel!!!
