「glegle vs bury pink girl」

glegle is pro-lgbt, pro-feminism, and bury pink is pro-love and kindness, both are the same thing almost, but i believe that bury pink wins so much more because she treats glegle very nicely, unlike glegle who would be pretty mad at bury since she is cis

Glegle interpretation thread?

I don't think Glegle actually met Bury Pink yet, but Glegle seems to be the easy going and gentle type, so they would probably get along.

Bury Pink may be much more outgoing than Glegle, though.

100% this, there is no universe where the two of them aren't best of friends

I hate the culture wars and everything the represent, so I'll certainly avoid them and any other ideologue traits when doing stuff with Glegle.

This seems like an interesting topic, so I might as well through out my thoughts. In response to OP, I personally think that Glegle wouldn't be the sort of person to harbor jealousy against others for innate characteristics, although they might for very small things, but these would probably dissipate pretty quickly. I agree with the rest of OP's thoughts though, on what each character stands for.
In a more meta discussion though, I think it will overall a good idea to eventually have and promote these discussions regarding the topics listed above (feminism, kindness, etc.). I'd say that with the live discussion format of this site, said discussions will be meaningful, respectful, and overall fun and interesting. I also think that while it would be fun to use the characters to act as a memetic representation of these positive ideas, we shouldn't attempt to use them while sorting out specific disagreements regarding these ideas (such as assimilation vs liberation). The characters are a fun and light-weight way to convey or represent a topic, and shouldn't be taken too seriously when it comes to deeper questions.

the usage of memes in memetic warfare is also inevitable. peacetime technologies are fated to be used for destruction, despite everyone's best intentions. we can prepare for that day or we can be caught unprepared.

Thinking back on Pepe, who was previously just a comic character in a lighthearted context, I can see how these cartoons can be twisted and warped pretty definitively. It's something that can always possibly happen, but I honestly would not count on it right away.

One thing with Glegle is that, if we're using the initial image as a base, the character is fluid and allows for more interpretation. I guess I am exposing myself a bit, but the images of Glegle being full bodies were just me making things up and twisting the character to how I perceived them. I treat them as being explicitly female even, though I still keep the pronouns and such as a character trait. Due to their lack of popularity, interpretations of Glegle can be far more loose and playful. There's no Glegle canon, so you can do what you want without confusing and angering people.
I'm not sure how long that can last though. All it would take is someone finding a low-effort way of making content and flooding places with it to change how Glegle is perceived.

I definitely agree with you take that physical interpretations of Glegle should be as open and varied as an illustrator wants. I've (probably) seen your Glegles, and although they sometimes have breasts (which are totally gender neutral, I'm a boymoder, so you can trust me on this) I've also seen someone making a small series of "masc-glegles" which have a chin-hair thing (I can post a pic if needed). I think its actually a good thing for people to interpret and draw Glegles in as many ways possible, as if someone sees a Glegle that looks like themselves, they're more likely to internally connect with it.

glegle is the hero with a thousand faces. each generation, each person, reinvents them for themselves, to stand for themselves. glegle is a mirror and an inkblot test. glegle is whatever the zeitgeist is. glegle is for everyone. amen.
